Patti Plinko And Her Boy

Patti Plinko odkrylam przypadkiem w Spiegeltent po godzinach; nikomu nieznana wowczas i niesmiala zwracala uwage niesamowitym glosem i zawodzeniem grajac przy tym na ukulele w towarzystwie swojego tajemniczego chlopca w masce gazowej na twarzy..Zdjecia pochodza z wystepu Patti w Forest Cafe w Edynburgu a obecnie artystka staje sie coraz bardziej popularna i doceniana, m.in. wystapila na tegorocznym Przegladzie Festiwalu Piosenki Aktorskiej we Wroclawiu.

I discovered Patti Plinko accidentally in Spiegeltent late hours; unknown then, she got my attention because of her amazing and mournful voice playing on ukulele with her mysterious boy wearing the gas mask.
The photos are from her concert in the Forest Cafe in Edinburgh and Patti becomes more and more popular and appreciated.

Camille O'Sullivan

Camille O'Sullivan, irlandzko-francuska piesniarka zyskala rozglos dzieki swym pelnym dramaturgii i pasji interpretacjom piosenek Kurta Weilla, Jacquesa Brela, Toma Waitsa i Nicka Cave. Spiewa po francusku, angielsku, niemiecku, kokietujac i uwodzac publicznosc. Camille zgodzila sie na kilka zdjec przed wystepem w Spiegeltent.

Camille O'Sullivan, Irish-French singer well known for her pure of passion interpretations of songs of Jacques Brel, Kurt Weill, Nick Cave. She performs in English, French and German seducing the audience. Here few shots taken before her show in Spiegeltent:

Edinburgh Cavalcade

Edinburgh Cavalcade to coroczna parada otwierajaca sierpniowy festiwal w Edynburgu. Biora w niej udzial grupy teatralne, muzycy i performerzy roznej masci wystepujacy na festiwalu. Tutaj zdjecia z 2007 r, w paradzie wzielo udzial 3 tys ludzi a publicznosc z powodu pogody ograniczyla sie do 50 tys.

Edinburgh Cavalcade is annual parade opening the festival. Here photos from 2007 , over 3000 people took part and the entire route was lined with spectators - an estimated 50,000 only, due to the weather.

The Black Seeds

Nowozelandzka grupa The Black Seeds oferuje mieszanke dub, funk, reggae i afrobeat.. Tutaj zdjecia z koncertu w Spiegeltent, festiwal Fringe, 2007.

Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand and led by the vocals of Barnaby Weir and Daniel Weetman, The Black Seeds’ produce a boundary-crossing fusion of dub, funk, afrobeat and soul, mixed with a vintage reggae base. Here photos taken in Spiegeltent, Fringe Festival Edinburgh, 2007.

Adam Read, Eclipse of Pygmy

Adam Read, urodzony w Australii performer, tancerz i aktor ktory wspolpracowal z rosyjska grupa teatralna Derevo oraz ze slynnym Cirque de Soleil. Uwielbiam Derevo dlatego kiedy dowiedzialam sie ze Adam wystepuje z solowym show na festiwalu Fringe w Edynburgu skontaktowalam sie nim i poprosilam o mozliwosc zdjec podczas tego spektaklu. Adam podszedl bardzo entuzjastycznie do mojego pomyslu i zgodzil sie bardzo chetnie, zdjecia zostaly zrobione podczas przedpremiery a ja bylam bardzo zestresowana dzwiekiem spustu migawki poniewaz spektakl odbywa sie niemal w ciszy. Warunki oswietleniowe byly wiecej niz marne i oczywiscie nie moglam uzyc flasha ale i tak jestem bardzo zadowolona z tych zdjec. Adam obecnie mieszka i pracuje w Izraelu.

Adam Read is Australian-born performer, dancer and actor who used to work with great Russian troup Derevo and toured with famous Cirque de Soleil with their show Delirium. I met him in Edinburgh in 2007 where he was performing in his solo show called Eclipse of Pygmy. These pictures were taken on a pre-show day, and i was quite stressed as the whole performance is silentful and my shutter was causing a noise. The lighting conditions were difficult and of course i could not use a flash but i am quite happy with these shots anyway. Adam is currently living and working in Israel.
